We now offer children ages 6 months to about 2 1/2 years old an age-approriate French-immersion program of their own. The program includes music, nursery rhymes, and games that expose children this age to the language in a playful, completely natural way. Because children are accompanied by a parent, it also serves as a wonderful guided playgroup of fellow francophone and francophile families.
Many of these families are enrolled for future drop off sessions once their children reach the age of 2. For families considering the drop-off program, this is also a wonderful way to get the children comfortable in the space, with the teacher, and with other future classmates, making the transition to independence that much easier. And it's a good way for parents to practice or improve their own French, too.
