We offer children ages 6 months to about 2 1/2 years old an age-approriate French-immersion program of their own. The program includes music, nursery rhymes, and games that expose children this age to the language in a playful, completely natural way. Because children are accompanied by a parent, it also serves as a wonderful guided playgroup of fellow francophone and francophile families.
Many of the families who have come through the Baby/Parent program have enrolled in drop- off sessions once their children reached the age of 2. For families considering the drop-off program, this is a wonderful way to get the children comfortable in the space, with the teacher, and with other future classmates, making the transition to independence that much easier. And it's a good way for parents to practice or improve their own French, too.
